Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the courage it takes for witnesses to come forward in cases like Gary King's. It's so essential for anyone who knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, to step up and help bring some peace to Gary's family. The anonymity tools like the Crime Stoppers hotline and P3 Tips app can't be overstated – they provide a way for people to share what they know without fear. I just wish more people felt safe enough to use them. It's maddening to think that the person responsible is still out there. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Gary. Let's hope someone finds the strength to speak up soon.
Hey everyone,

With all the discussions about Gary King's case, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on the neighborhood where this occurred. The shooting happened in the 3400 block of Park Avenue, and I can’t help but wonder how it's affected the community there. I used to live not far from that area, and I know it's tight-knit, with many families who’ve been there for generations.

From the street gatherings to those regular front porch conversations, there’s no doubt this incident must have left a mark. Having such a violent act occur close to home must be distressing. Are there any community efforts or vigils that have been taking place to bring people together? It seems vital for neighborhood healing. Also, if anyone knows more about how local initiatives like these are trying to combat the broader issue of violence, I’d love to hear about it.

Victims and their families shouldn’t have to shoulder this pain alone, and it’s crucial the community feels supported too. Love to everyone keeping Gary in their thoughts and working toward a safer KC.
