I was going through some old threads about missing persons cases when Tamala Wells’ story caught my eye. One detail that's been bugging me is about her car being abandoned just a few blocks from her house. It's so strange to me that the car was found so close. It makes me wonder if she knew the area well or if someone was trying to throw off the investigation by leaving it there. Does anyone with local knowledge of Detroit's Appleton Street area have any thoughts on this? I’m curious if there are any surveillance cameras or businesses nearby that might have caught something back in 2012. Also, were there any known issues with her car that might have caused her to stop? Could she have encountered someone she knew or trusted? Still so many unanswered questions, and it’s disturbing how cold the trail seems to have gone. Any insights would be appreciated.
