I can't stop thinking about the families of Jocklyn Manley and Pervis Andre Polk Jr. What they must be going through right now is unimaginable. It's so hard to understand how something like this can happen, and without any arrests or clear motive, it just feels like there's no closure for anyone involved. Even the community around 9th Avenue North must be shaken up, knowing such violence occurred right in their midst. My heart really goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. I hope the investigation moves forward soon and they get some answers. This kind of violence needs to stop, and I just wish there was more we could do to help the victims' families during this terrible time.

Has anyone heard any updates on the investigation into the Woodlawn double homicide? It’s been really unsettling to think about how a 51-year-old woman and a teenager could be gunned down so brutally. My heart goes out to Jocklyn Manley and Pervis Andre Polk Jr.'s families. Losing loved ones like this is unimaginable. I don’t know how a community begins to heal from something so tragic. Does anyone know about any community efforts, vigils, or support groups forming in response to this? It seems like our neighborhoods could really use some coming together right now.
