Wow, Mark's story is such a difficult one to process, especially considering the tragic loss his family is enduring. I can't even begin to imagine what Isabell, Layton, and Kara are going through right now. One aspect that sticks out to me is how situations involving mental health crises and police interactions are handled. I mean, how do we make sure officers are equipped with the right tools and training to prevent tragedies like this from happening again? It's scary to think how quickly things can escalate, and it's clear there's a lot to dissect about what went down that night. There’s definitely a delicate balance between keeping officers safe and protecting the person they’re trying to help. Sending all my thoughts to his loved ones and hoping that the investigation can bring some clarity and perhaps even some peace. Does anyone have any insight into the measures taken by other communities to address similar situations?
