I was thinking about how neighborhoods can change when something like what happened to Brett Gorecki occurs. His family is left to pick up the pieces while the community feels the shockwaves of violence happening at what's meant to be home. It’s tragic beyond words. I can’t imagine how it feels for Brett’s family. His brother Redmond has shown such incredible strength and courage by asking the community to help with any information. The truth is, stories like these are way too common, and it takes everyone working together to try to make these communities safer. I hope more people step up to provide any information they might have to assist in bringing justice for Brett.
