Hey everyone, I was thinking about the friend who lent Matthew Fontenot the gun on the day of the murder. I find it astonishing how a momentary decision to lend a weapon can have such devastating consequences. I wonder if the friend had any inkling of Matthew's intentions or just thought he was helping out a buddy who was scared. Regardless, it's a reminder of how crucial it is to be mindful about the potential fallout from our actions. My heart goes out to Antwine Boyd's loved ones. I can’t imagine what they’re going through, knowing how avoidable this violence might have been. It’s these tragic, intertwined circumstances that make me wish people thought more carefully about the implications of lending firearms or getting involved in heated disputes. If only there were clearer paths for young people to resolve their conflicts without turning to violence. What do you all think about the responsibility of the friend in this situation? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
