I recently read about the tragic case of Dekeilen Joe Nelson and Kevin Lorenzo Stephenson, and it just got me thinking about Dustin Bennett's role in all this. It's infuriating to think that Bennett initially claimed their intention was just to scare Nelson and Stephenson. How could it escalate so horribly from there? It's difficult to wrap my head around the concept of "scaring" someone with a gun in the first place. Considering he later admitted to accidentally firing the gun, it really makes me question the reliability and truthfulness of his statements throughout the investigation. There’s so much weight in every word, especially when lives are lost. My heart goes out to the families of the victims who have to navigate through this nightmare. I hope they find some measure of peace.
