Just been thinking about the role of the community in this tragic case of Iris Rodriguez. It's really incredible how the San Antonio community came together after such a devastating event. The candlelight vigils not only showed support for Iris's family but also sent a strong message about the need for justice. I attended one of the vigils, and seeing people from all walks of life unite in solidarity was both touching and powerful. It's moments like these that remind us of the strength and compassion within communities, even amid such sorrow. It makes me wonder if there will be any lasting impact, like increased community programs or tighter gun control measures, so no other family has to endure such a loss. My heart goes out to Iris's family; no one should have to experience this kind of pain.
