Was anyone else struck by the sheer tenacity Torres showed in his career? It's just so unsettling to think that someone like him, who dedicated his life to amplifying marginalized voices, could be silenced in such a violent way. I remember reading some of his articles – this guy wasn’t afraid to tackle sensitive issues, and I truly admired that. Also, I can't help but think about the potential connection between the lawsuit Mejia wanted to file and this tragedy. What could have been so severe that it led to such a drastic and horrific outcome? It leaves me with so many questions about Mejia's motives, especially since there hasn't been much detail shared about the lawsuit's nature. You really have to wonder if there was something more complex happening between them. I just hope that with all the work the investigators are putting into this, Mejia is caught soon, and Torres' family can find a shred of peace. It’s also a reminder of how resilient the community can be, joining together in seeking justice and preserving Torres’ legacy. If anyone out there has information, however small it may seem, sharing it with the authorities could really help move this case forward.
