Has anyone else been following the details of Justin Lee Sifuentes' case? I'm really struck by how the legal system handled the whole self-defense angle. From what I understand, the defense argued pretty hard that Tristan Roland acted in self-defense during the altercation. It’s honestly unsettling to think how issues of self-defense are interpreted in courts, especially in cases that end so tragically. Thinking of Justin's family, it must have been incredibly difficult for them to sit through those proceedings, hearing every argument made. It's such a tragic reminder of how important it is to intervene and address violent behavior before it escalates to this point. How do others feel about how self-defense was approached in this case?
