Has anyone looked into the liquor store Eddie was heading to before he vanished? I’m wondering if there’s surveillance footage from around the time he would have been there. Sometimes smaller stores don’t keep tapes for very long, but maybe they caught something unusual that day. Also, could the people making those calls to Eddie’s family have been around the store? It’s just strange that they'd know enough to call but not share any helpful details. It feels like they might have critical info, even if it’s just a clue. It’s been so many years now—hoping something new comes up soon. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon the case of Eddie James Johnson from Jennings, MO, and one thing that's really stuck with me is the series of unsettling phone calls his family received. What's so eerie is that they used Eddie's phone number to deliver vague messages about him being injured. It's as if someone knew his family would panic hearing that news, but why give no details? It makes me wonder if the calls were just a cruel trick, or if they were deliberately misleading anyone looking for Eddie. Did anyone in the area get similar calls during that time, or is there any theory about who those callers might have been? Would love to hear your thoughts or any extra info you might have come across.
