Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking on here for a while and finally decided to post my thoughts on the Devon Leatherbury case. I recently came across a report mentioning the surveillance footage showing Richard Zelonis using Devon's gift card, which was a key piece of evidence in this whole thing. I can't even imagine how chilling it must have been for Devon's family to see something so personal being casually used by one of the people involved after such a tragic event. It's crazy how something seemingly minor like that can unravel such a serious crime. It just makes you think about how much work goes into investigations and how important those little details are. My heart truly goes out to Devon’s family. Even though there’s been some legal closure, I know the void left by his loss will never fully heal. I hope they find peace and justice in all the ways possible. Anyone else have thoughts on how small pieces of evidence can make or break a case?

Hey everyone, I've been following Devon Leatherbury's case closely for a while now, and something about the whole situation with Richard Zelonis keeps bothering me. Particularly, how shocking it was that Leatherbury's gift card was used so brazenly after his death. It seems almost reckless or like a glaring mistake that broke the case open. My heart goes out to Devon's family; I can't imagine how difficult it is to find out little details like this that feel so senseless and make the whole tragedy even harder to process. Do you all think that such a careless action indicates anything about Richard's state of mind or his involvement at that time? It makes me wonder about the dynamics between all those involved.

I’ve been following the Devon Leatherbury case closely, and I recently came across some information that I found incredibly troubling and just wanted to share. It's hard to even begin to imagine what his family has gone through over these years. The bit about Richard Zelonis using a gift card that belonged to Devon is just chilling. It's like a callous disrespect on top of everything else. I can't stop thinking about what kind of mindset someone would have to be in to do something like that after such a horrific act. It's good to see that justice is being pursued, but these little details really drive home the level of disregard for Devon's life. My heart is with Devon's family as they navigate this lengthy and painful process. Every step must feel like reliving the nightmare over and over. Let’s continue to keep them in our thoughts and hope they find strength in the memories of the time they spent with Devon.
