Has anyone else spent some time looking into the background of Redrick Jevon Batiste, the alleged mastermind behind the robbery that led to David Guzman Lopez's tragic death? It seems he had quite a bit of influence over his crew, orchestrating multiple heists over time. I can't help but wonder how he managed to keep them all in line and what led them to think they could pull off such bold robberies. It's wild to think that David, who was just doing his job, got tangled up in their dangerous schemes. I hope his family finds some comfort knowing that justice is being pursued. It’s hard not to think about what could have been different, especially for his fiancé. She must’ve envisioned a future so bright with David, and seeing it cut short by such senseless violence is just devastating. If anyone has more insights into Batiste's previous activities or how law enforcement managed to connect all the dots, I’d be interested in hearing more.

Did anyone else find the security measures at Brink’s to be a bit concerning leading up to this tragedy? I understand that protecting such large sums of money is a high-risk job, but it seems like there might have been gaps in protocol or training that could have put David in such a vulnerable position. It’s so upsetting to think that more could perhaps have been done to prevent this awful situation. From everything I've read about David, he was such a diligent and responsible employee—he shouldn't have had to pay the ultimate price for doing his job. My thoughts are with his family and fiancée, Lorin, as they process this unimaginable loss. Has the company made any changes since this happened?
