Has anyone else been struck by the impact this case has on Missy's kids? I can't imagine what Aleah Jade, Mateo Kai, and Ivan are going through, suddenly losing such a vibrant, caring mother. It's so important that they get the support they need from family and community to process this trauma and grow up knowing they are loved. From what I've read, Melissa seems to have been an amazing mom, always putting her kids first, which makes this all the more devastating for them. I hope people close to them are stepping in to help the children remember the good times with their mom and keep her spirit alive in their lives. If anyone has any info on how the community is rallying to support them, I'd love to hear about it.
