I'm still in disbelief about what happened in Amarillo with the Stone family. I can't stop thinking about the role that mental health might have played leading up to this unspeakable tragedy. It's evident that something was terribly wrong for Michelle Stone to have done something so horrific. I wonder if there were any signs or cries for help that went unnoticed. It's heartbreaking to think of the pain and confusion Keagan, Ricky, and Audrianna must have felt in those final moments. As a community, how can we better support those who might be silently struggling, and potentially avert another disaster like this? My heart goes out to anyone who was close to the Stone family. The weight of such loss must feel immeasurable.
