I came across some info about the witness statements in the Ava Castillo case, and it really paints a picture of that night. It seems like both neighbors and random passersby were deeply affected by what they saw. Some people at the scene apparently tried to comfort Diana and Betzy while they waited for help to arrive, and that just breaks my heart. For anyone interested, there was a beautiful mural painted in honor of Ava near their apartment complex that I believe continues to stand, serving as both a memorial and a message of hope.❤️
