I've been thinking a lot about Dontey Washington's case, and one aspect that stands out to me is the location where it happened. From everything I've read, 135 Dafoste isn't exactly the most notorious area in San Antonio, which makes me wonder why Dontey was there and how the shooter managed to escape unnoticed. It's just baffling to think that there's been so little progress despite the reward and public appeals. I can't help but feel for Dontey's family, not having any closure after so long. It's got to be incredibly frustrating, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. If anyone's familiar with the area around East Commerce Street, do you think there are any overlooked aspects of the environment or community that investigators should consider? Sometimes the smallest details can lead to breakthroughs. I hope anyone with information finds the courage to come forward. Dontey deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
