Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the case of Omar Salazar, and something that's been on my mind is how much we ignore silent stories like his. We so often focus on cases with loads of media coverage, but what about individuals like Omar whose stories seem to fade into the background? No criminal charges or investigations — it almost feels like there's an absence of closure for the family and friends left wondering. Even though nothing indicated foul play, I imagine how much uncertainty that must add to their grief. It's important for us to remember that every person deserves to have their story heard and to be honored, regardless of how public or well-documented their case is. Sending all my thoughts to those who loved Omar, and hoping they find peace and answers, in whatever form that may be. Anyone else have thoughts on how we can bring more attention to cases like his or other ways we can support families through these times?
