I was digging into the timeline of Javier's disappearance, and something just doesn't add up with that phone call on May 24th. If Javier was struggling with blisters to the point where he couldn't keep walking, shouldn't his companions have ensured he was in a safe spot, especially if they knew a body of water was nearby? It seems bizarre that they'd just leave him without securing some form of assistance or doing more to communicate with his family. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the terrain around that lake or reservoir where he was supposedly left? Could it be accessible for someone in Javier's condition? It might be worth looking into who else crossed the border that day; perhaps they have some details that weren't shared in the initial phone conversation. I hope Javier's story doesn't get lost in all the noise. Thoughts?
Has anyone been able to find out more about the location where Javier was last seen? A lake or reservoir is mentioned in the info we have, but there must be dozens of those near the border. I tried searching for bodies of water in the region but came up with too many possibilities. It feels like knowing which exact body of water could be key in narrowing down search areas.
