Hi all, I've been following the case of Jose Antonio Hernandez from the beginning, and something that hasn't been discussed much is the response by the local Harker Heights authorities in the immediate aftermath. From what I’ve read, it sounds like the first officer on the scene really went above and beyond, trying to save Jose's life until the paramedics got there. It's really important to acknowledge these efforts, even when the outcome is so tragic. Performing CPR in such intense circumstances isn't easy, and it shows a level of dedication and commitment to protecting and serving the community that shouldn't be overlooked. It's heartbreaking to think of the family and friends enduring such a loss, but knowing that there were people trying their best to save him might offer a small comfort. I hope this case brings about some positive changes, not just in terms of justice for Jose, but also in how our community addresses and responds to violence in the future.
