I've been thinking a lot about how this case was handled and it's just so deeply unsettling that there haven't been any suspects or arrests. It's been over six years since Victoria DeLeon was taken from her family, and it just doesn't sit right with me that there seems to be no progress in finding justice for her. What baffles me is that this shootout seems so random, and yet, in such a close-knit community, it feels like someone must know something. The idea that a bullet could cause such unimaginable loss by ricocheting is haunting. And to think her last act was holding her baby, putting her child's safety above everything even in her final moments, speaks volumes about the kind of person she was. It's a terrible thing for her children to grow up without their mom, and I just hope that someday, someone will come forward with information that can bring some closure to her family. I wonder if there have been any recent developments that we’re not aware of. How do families keep pushing for answers when it feels like the investigation stalls? Sending love and strength to her family. They deserve to know the truth and have Victoria's story heard.
