Wow, the Stephanie Montez case hits hard, especially thinking about how she was misgendered in those initial reports. It's truly frustrating and disheartening. I can't help but think how challenging it must have been for her friends and family to see Stephanie's identity overlooked like that. Brittany Ramirez’s words about her being "one of the sweetest people" just make her loss even more profound. It’s a stark reminder of the extra barriers transgender folks face even after their passing. This case brought so many of these issues to light, and I really hope it pushes more people in power to listen and act. Seeing some justice with the convictions is a step in the right direction, but it’s clearly just the start. Sending thoughts to everyone affected and wishing for more understanding and acceptance moving forward.
