I can't stop thinking about the role of community support in cases like Stephanie Herrera's tragedy. She was such a light in her community, especially with her work at Dreams Come True Princess Parties and volunteering at the El Paso Children's Hospital. It's clear she touched so many lives in a positive way. I'm curious how the local community has been supporting her family and if there are any initiatives that have sprung up to continue her legacy of helping children. If anyone has updates on community activities or remembrance events, it would be wonderful to share those. Keeping everyone who loved Stephanie in my thoughts as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. ?
I’ve been thinking about how strong and brave the two family members in the house must have been during such a horrifying situation. It's unimaginable to be in that circumstance, trying to save someone you love in those last moments. The fact that they faced such danger shows a side of love and courage we often don't talk about, and my heart really goes out to them. I can't begin to fathom the fear and trauma they’ve experienced from witnessing the loss of both Stephanie and her father. I hope they have a strong support system to help them through this. It’s so important that communities rally around survivors of tragic events like this, offering not just condolences, but ongoing support however they need it.
