Has anyone looked into the use of drones or aerial surveillance in this area? With the vast desert and limited visibility from the ground, I'm wondering if any agencies or volunteer groups have taken to the skies. There’s so much uncharted territory out there, and a bird’s eye view might offer clues that are impossible to see otherwise. Plus, technology has advanced so much—could be a game changer in finding missing people on such dangerous routes.

I've been researching the area around Camino de la Tortuga, and it seems like a tough terrain for anyone to navigate, especially in the summer heat. Does anyone know if this path is commonly used for crossings? I can't stop thinking about what Julio and the others might have faced out there. If anyone has local knowledge or insights on the conditions and challenges of that route, it would be great to hear. I'm trying to piece together anything that might give us more clues about what happened.

Hey everyone, I’ve been doing some digging on Julio’s disappearance and came across something that might be worth discussing. Has anyone checked into the background or identities of the two individuals who were with him when they reportedly crossed at Sonoyta/Lukeville? I feel like knowing more about who they are and their reasons for crossing might bring some new insights into his case. Also, does anyone know if Julio had any connections to the area near Camino de la Tortuga? Maybe there's a reason they chose that particular route? Would love to hear your thoughts or any info you might have come across. Let’s keep sharing and hopefully, we can piece more of this together.
