Did anyone else find it odd that the defense didn't bring up any character witnesses for Jason Harvey Lee during the trial? It struck me as unusual, especially in a case where the prosecution emphasized Lee's prior felony convictions. You'd think that if there were people who could vouch for his character or offer any alternative perspective on his behavior, they would have been called. Maybe the defense didn’t have anyone willing to stand up for him, which speaks volumes in itself. My heart goes out to Thomas's family—can't imagine the pain they've been through during the whole process. His son Joey and the rest of his family must be incredibly strong to endure this. Thomas deserves to be remembered beyond the tragic way he was taken from this world. Here's hoping they find some peace moving forward.
