Hey everyone, I've been following Glen Wenzel’s case, and I keep thinking about the bravery he showed in the face of such terror. It's just so typical of him, based on everything I’ve read from people who knew him. He confronted those robbers likely hoping to protect not just himself but his co-worker, too. It’s so deeply upsetting to see someone who lived his life with such selflessness facing such violence.
The fact that the community has come together in the aftermath says a lot about the impact Glen had on those around him. People who didn’t even know him personally have shown support to his family and the call for justice. It’s times like these that test our faith in humanity, but also display the incredible empathy and kindness people are capable of. I really hope the second suspect is found soon, not only to bring Glen’s loved ones some peace but also to ensure others don’t have to experience something so horrific. My thoughts are with Glen’s family as they navigate this difficult time.

Has anyone dug deeper into the security measures (or lack thereof) at the construction site on Pueblito Verde Way? Considering it was in east Harris County, I wonder if there were any precautions in place to safeguard workers, especially knowing that construction sites can sometimes be vulnerable to such unfortunate events.
It's just devastating that Glen, known for being such a devoted family man, had his life cut short on a regular workday. It's crucial for the community and authorities to ensure that future inspections and workers are protected so that no other family has to go through such a loss.
