I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on Luis's family, especially his young son, Luis Jr. Growing up without a father is incredibly hard, and my heart goes out to him and the rest of the family. I hope there's a strong support system around him, giving him the love and guidance he needs as he grows up. It's so painful to see young lives affected by such unnecessary violence. Does anyone know if there's a scholarship fund or anything set up for his son's future? Maybe getting involved in some way could help us honor Luis's memory and support his family during this tough time.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role of the bystanders that night at the theater. It must have been an incredibly traumatic experience for those who witnessed the shooting. There were a lot of people leaving the cinema, and it's hard not to wonder how they're coping, having seen something so horrific unfold right before their eyes. Witnesses play such a crucial role in these cases, providing evidence that helps bring justice, but I can’t even imagine the emotional impact on them after such an event. Has anyone heard if there are resources or support groups in Houston that help people who've witnessed traumatic incidents like this? It seems like there should be some outreach for them, too. My heart goes out to Luis’s family, but also to those everyday people who found themselves in this terrible situation—no one should have to carry that burden alone. Let's keep discussing how we can support all victims of violence, directly and indirectly. Stay safe, everyone.
