Have y'all heard anything new about Deangelo Blackmon's case? It's so frustrating to see another young life lost like this. I can't even imagine what his family is going through right now. What's even more concerning is that this happened in a neighborhood that's seen too much of this kind of violence already. I remember reading how 2013 was tough for St. Louis with all those incidents, but it just doesn't seem to be getting better. I really hope that someone out there has some info that could help the police figure out who did this. His family deserves answers, and our community needs the peace that comes with justice. If anyone has any updates or ideas on how we can support efforts to solve this, please share. Let's do what we can to not let Deangelo's life be forgotten.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Deangelo Lamar Blackmon and my heart really goes out to his family during this devastating time. I was revisiting some old articles and noticed something that caught my attention. The location where Deangelo was found, near the 5000 block of Sherry Avenue, is frequently mentioned in reports about violent incidents in the area. I wonder if this particular spot is being carefully scrutinized by the authorities.
It makes me think about the broader issues of neighborhood safety and whether there have been any community-driven initiatives to tackle the violence. People living in these affected areas deserve to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. If anyone here has insights into measures being taken by local groups or any active community involvement, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them.
Let’s hope for progress in this case, not only for justice for Deangelo but also for the safety of others in St. Louis. Stay safe, everyone.
