Hi everyone, I’ve been following the Greenspoint case from June 2018, and one detail that stands out to me is the impact these events must have on the families left behind. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they continue to feel after such a tragic loss. It's truly overwhelming to think about how one moment of anger and despair can ripple through so many lives. I read somewhere that murder-suicides are often incredibly shocking because there's usually no prior indication that something so final and terrible is going to happen. I hope that the families received the support they needed from their community during such a difficult time. Mental health resources and domestic violence outreach are so important in preventing tragedies like this from happening in the future. If anyone knows more about what kind of support was offered in the area after this incident, I’d be really interested to hear about it. It’s crucial that we talk about these things and learn from them. Stay safe, everyone.
