I’ve been following the discussion around the Haas case, and something that I can’t stop thinking about is how the community is processing the loss of Gloria and Robert. It’s truly something to reflect on how their contagious smiles and dedication to each other had a lasting impact on those around them. It must be incredibly hard for their friends and family to come to terms with what happened, especially given that it was such a close-knit community in Hallettsville. I wonder if there are any community support groups or memorials happening that reflect this shared grief and healing. It’s important to come together during times like these to remember not just the end but the beautiful lives they led and the love they spread.
