I keep thinking about the bravery of Michelle and Nigel's teenage children. What those kids went through that day is something no one should ever have to experience. Escaping from such a terrifying situation took an enormous amount of courage and instinct. I'm relieved to know they got out safely and are with relatives, but I can’t stop thinking about the emotional scars this tragedy might leave them with. It’s a cruel reminder of how domestic violence impacts not just the immediate victims but the entire family. My heart goes out to them, and I hope they're getting all the support and love they need to heal from this terrible ordeal. Let’s continue to rally around these kids and Michelle’s family, showing them they're not alone in this.
