It's incredibly distressing to see that Deon R. Johnson's case still hasn't been resolved all these years later. It must be so tough for his family and friends not to have answers or justice for him. Something that caught my attention was how this happened late at night—was Deon just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or could it have been someone he knew? I know the area where it happened is sometimes considered dangerous after dark, but that still doesn’t explain why, after all this time, there seems to be little progress.
The Kansas City Police have been pushing for help from the public. I just hope this post might serve as a reminder to anyone who might know something, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward. Even the tiniest piece of information could be the key to solving the case. I think it's commendable that the police are still committed to finding who did this. Deon's family deserves closure, and the community deserves to feel safe. Let's keep his memory alive and continue to push for justice.
