Has anyone else been following the investigation into the tragic murder of Jalil Stewart? ? I couldn't stop thinking about the meticulous work done by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and Converse Police Department to connect the dots. It must have taken incredible dedication to trace those firearms back to other crimes in the area. It's alarming to see how these weapons were part of a pattern of violence. Jalil deserved so much more than to be caught up in this senseless violence, and it's so sad to hear about all the lives that have been disrupted by these crimes. I'm sending my thoughts to his family, who must be enduring unimaginable pain. It’s comforting to know that the community is rallying to ensure justice is served, but it’s disheartening how gun violence continues to be such a pervasive issue. What do you all think can be done to tackle this broader problem more effectively?
