Each time I think about Sherice Carrillo's case, I'm struck by how much we never really know about what's going on behind closed doors. It's absolutely devastating to consider that a mother-son relationship could end with such a senseless act. Having a 21-year-old son myself, it truly hits close to home. Can any Houston locals share whether there were signs of trouble leading up to that tragic day? I feel like sometimes there are warning signs that might be overlooked. My heart goes out to the Carrillo family and especially to those who knew Sherice personally. It's hard to comprehend how anyone can find healing after such loss.
