Anyone else struck by how pivotal forensic evidence was in the Celina Lung case? I mean, back in 1964, forensic science wasn't nearly as advanced as it is today, but they managed to secure a conviction without a body, which is pretty significant. The blood-stained coat with a bullet hole found in her car must have been compelling enough for the jury. I'm curious about what kind of forensic techniques they used at that time to tie her husband so strongly to the crime. It just makes me wonder how modern advancements like DNA analysis might have impacted the case had it occurred today. Anyone familiar with how forensic methods from that era might compare to what we have now?
