It's been so many years, and I still can't wrap my head around why there was no follow-up on Harry Andrew Lanham's confession regarding Pamela Huebner. I recently stumbled upon some old newspaper articles from the early '70s and noticed there's barely any mention of their search efforts after his confession. It's as if it was treated like just another dead-end lead at the time. I mean, given the fact he mentioned specific locations, why wasn't there more of a push to comb those areas thoroughly? Were the resources just not available back then, or was there perhaps a bit of skepticism about his credibility? I wish we had more details on what was said during those confessions. Anyone else have any info on the police efforts in this case during that period?

It's been over 50 years since Pamela Huebner vanished, and her case still haunts so many of us who are passionate about giving families closure. I recently came across something interesting while researching her disappearance. Did anyone else see that one detail about Harry Andrew Lanham's confession? He claimed he knew the exact location of Pamela's body, but searches at those sites turned up nothing. It's really frustrating because we know he had details that weren't public. Do you think he could have been lying to toy with the authorities, or was he just trying to negotiate some sort of deal? It's odd how someone wouldn't be charged after such a confession, but without evidence, I guess the police's hands were tied. It makes me wonder how many other cases out there are like this where a confession doesn't lead to justice. Let's try to keep discussing this; maybe fresh eyes will lend some new insight.

Has anyone looked into the potential links between Pamela Huebner's disappearance and similar cases reported around Houston in the early '70s? There was speculation back then about a possible pattern but it never seemed to gain much traction. Given that Lanham and Knoppa were allegedly involved in multiple murder cases, I wonder if there might be more leads connecting other women missing during that time. Also, how thorough were the investigations into Lanham's claims about where Pamela's remains might be? It's always struck me as odd that they took his confession seriously but didn't press further given the lack of physical evidence. Maybe someone with access to old police files or archives could shed some light on whether any actions were taken to explore potential connections outside what Lanham disclosed. Thoughts?
