Christopher James Henderson-Jones was shot and killed in broad daylight in St. Louis on the afternoon of October 11, 2013. The 23-year-old, who lived on the 7500 block of Michigan Avenue, was standing in the 3800 block of Labadie Avenue when an unknown person or persons fired multiple rounds, striking him in the chest, pelvis, and hip.
Officers found Henderson-Jones lying face down in a vacant lot at about 1:12 p.m. Despite an immediate response, the wounds were fatal. The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not clear, and investigators canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses. No specific suspects had been named at the time, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department asked anyone with information to come forward.
If anyone was in the Labadie Avenue area that afternoon or has information about Christopher Henderson-Jones, please share what you know with investigators.
