I've been following Annette Juarez's case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on her daughter. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing her mom in such a terrible way, especially when she had to witness her mother talking to Mujica that night. It's truly devastating for her and the whole family. The aftermath of such a tragedy is hard enough without having to process that her mom's life was taken by someone they knew and might have trusted at some point. It's so important to support victims of domestic violence to prevent more families from enduring this kind of agony. Sending thoughts and prayers to Annette's daughter and hoping she has a strong support system around her to help her heal. If anyone knows of organizations in San Antonio that work with families affected by such violence, sharing that info might be a helpful resource for others going through similar circumstances.
