I’ve been following James Penegar's case, and something that keeps coming to mind is how his friend Clarence Smith must feel. Witnessing something so devastating must be incredibly traumatic. I can’t imagine the pain of seeing your friend's life taken in such a senseless way. It's a reminder of how these tragic events ripple outwards, affecting everyone connected to the victim. I truly hope Clarence has access to the support he needs to process this experience. Sending strength and compassion to all of James's loved ones during this difficult time.
