I’ve been following this case and it breaks my heart for the Rivera family and the community in Rosenberg. Something that really struck me is how Gloria was described as bedridden. It's terrifying to think about how vulnerable she was during this tragic event. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and helplessness she must have felt. Her brother highlighted this, and it’s just so overwhelingly sad to think that she probably didn't stand a chance. It makes me wonder how we can better protect those who are in such vulnerable situations, especially when there’s a history of domestic issues. My thoughts are with the Rivera family. It’s a heartbreaking loss for them, and I hope they find some solace in this difficult time.
