I've been following Damaine Saulters' case, and it just hits me how little we know about what happened that night. It's so frustrating to see another tragic incident of gun violence where the details seem to vanish into thin air. Damaine was only 18 and had his whole life ahead of him. I can’t even imagine the pain his family is going through, not having answers or closure. Has anyone else heard anything more recent or local insights that aren't making it to broader news platforms? How can it be that in a city as large as Houston, cases like this just fade away without resolution? It feels like there needs to be more community-driven efforts to keep attention on these cases, maybe even some kind of support network for the families affected to help them navigate this terrible situation. Thoughts?
