I've been following the Butler case closely and keep thinking about their travel plans. Michelle and James were on what should have been a beautiful cross-country adventure, and it's so distressing to think how it ended. It breaks my heart to imagine their excitement turning into such a nightmare. They deserved to enjoy their journey in peace and safety. The idea of meeting strangers on the road is something many travelers cherish, and to see this trust betrayed is unsettling. It's sad that Adam Curtis Williams and Amanda Noverr crossed paths with them in such a malicious way. I can't shake the thought that our world needs more kindness and less violence. My thoughts are with Michelle and James's loved ones. Hearing that they found some semblance of peace with the convictions is a small comfort, but I hope they continue to find the strength to heal. Please keep sharing their story—it's vital that we continue to discuss these cases, not only for justice but to keep the memories of the victims alive.
