I've been thinking a lot about the role of the community in Jose Rivera's case. It's so moving to see how many people have come together to support his family and demand justice. I heard about some local groups forming to push for better safety measures and community programs. It's incredible to witness people trying to make a difference in the wake of such a tragic event. I really hope these efforts lead to meaningful change and can, in some way, honor Jose's memory. It's just so sad how it often takes a senseless loss to spur action, but seeing a community unite like this reminds me there's a silver lining in even the darkest situations.
