I’ve been following the case of Tre Jamal Cain and can’t stop thinking about the two young children who were in the apartment when everything happened. It’s unimaginable what they and his girlfriend went through that night and the trauma they must still be dealing with. Knowing their dad was taken from them in such a brutal way chills me to the bone. I hope there’s some kind of support in place for them, be it counseling or a community stepping up. If anyone's aware of local resources that might be available for young kids in such tragic situations, it would be helpful to share. While justice for Tre is essential, the well-being of those kids feels just as critical. Hopefully, the authorities are stepping up efforts, and we'll see these suspicions translated into specific leads or arrests soon.
