Has anyone else looked into the strange circumstances surrounding Kenny Dietrich's car being left at Will Rogers Airport? It's quite puzzling that so many of his personal belongings, including his wallet and wedding ring, were inside. If he was planning to vanish on his own, why leave behind crucial items? On the other hand, if foul play was involved, why would someone leave these items there? The location seems random unless he had plans to travel, which doesn't match with what was known of his trip with co-workers. I'm curious if there were any sightings or report of unusual activity around the airport parking lot at the time. With the lack of security cameras back then, it might have been easier for something shady to happen. It makes me wonder if the car being found there is a red herring or if it can actually provide some insight. It's just frustrating that the original case files were lost in the flood – who knows what kind of details were in there that we're missing out on now? I hope the reopened investigation from 2016 stirs up some vital new information. Thoughts?

I'm really curious about the sequence of events surrounding Kenneth's disappearance. It seems odd that his car was left at Will Rogers Airport with all his personal belongings inside. I mean, if he was planning to meet coworkers for a river float, wouldn't he have needed those items, like his camping gear or at least his wallet? Anyone know if they ever confirmed he actually met up with his friends at the Lamp Lighter Club? It just seems strange there was such a long gap before any traces of him were found. And that flood of case files - that's just terrible luck, isn't it? Anyone here with experience in cold cases know if there's any other way the police might recreate lost documents?

I’ve been thinking about the missing person case of Kenneth "Kenny" Dietrich quite a bit lately. What really puzzles me is the fact that his 1978 Ford LTD was found parked at Will Rogers Airport with all his belongings inside. It's such a bizarre detail—his ID, wedding ring, and even his camping gear just left behind. If he was planning to disappear, those are exactly the sorts of things you'd expect someone to take with them. The theory about something happening at the Lamp Lighter Club seems plausible to me. Maybe he met with someone there who had ill intentions or something went wrong unexpectedly. Thinking about the times back in 1981, it’s feasible that someone could come under harm’s way without leaving much evidence behind, which might explain the complete lack of clues at the scene. Another curious part is the flood that destroyed the original case files. It's almost like this case was saddled with bad luck from the start, making it even harder for his family to find any peace. Has anyone heard if more thorough investigations were done around the airport area back then? It seems odd that the car sat there unnoticed for such a time. Would love to hear if anyone has more insight or if there were additional leads regarding the club’s patrons.
