I've been following the case of Christepher Howard, and like many, I'm deeply saddened by the absence of updates or an arrest. What really stands out to me is the choice of location for this horrific act—the parking lot of a McDonald's. It seems so random yet chilling that it happened in such a public place. Many of us have grown up stopping by these restaurants, grabbing a quick meal or meeting up with friends, never imagining something like this could unfold there. It makes you think twice about places you’ve always considered safe. I also can't shake the thought of how Christepher’s girlfriend must be feeling, knowing she was right there with him moments before the unthinkable. It's got to be incredibly tough for her, coping with an unimaginable loss while perhaps feeling an unfair burden of 'what ifs'. If anyone out there has more information that could help the police, it could mean the world to his family and bring some peace back to the neighborhood. Safety in our community should be a shared responsibility. My thoughts are with Christepher’s loved ones during this incredibly tough time.
