Has anyone else looked into the area around the Laurel Notch Motel and the Quakerbridge Mall during the time when Gina disappeared? I've been digging through old newspapers and trying to piece together what was happening in Bordentown Township in November 1981. It seems like hitchhiking was relatively common back then, but I'm curious if there were any reports of unusual activities or sightings in that corridor. Considering she was trying to get to the mall, I wonder if there were any other investigations or missing person cases linked to those spots that might have been overlooked. Any fellow researchers come across something similar or have theories about other individuals who might have passed through the area?
Hey everyone, just wanted to bring up something I've been thinking about regarding Gina Gallo's case. I recently stumbled upon an old local newspaper article from around the time Gina went missing. It mentioned the possibility that there might have been an increase in hitchhiking-related disappearances in the area around the early '80s.
I'm wondering if anyone here has more info about this? Were there any other similar cases in that region? It makes me think that maybe Gina's disappearance could be connected to a pattern. We all know hitchhiking was way more common back then, and my heart goes out to everyone who took the risk simply because they had no other way to travel. Just trying to piece together any potential connections that might help make sense of what happened to her. If anyone has more insights or resources, please share!
