The trial and conviction of Marcus Oliver Moseley must have brought a sense of justice, yet I know it’ll never truly replace what they’ve lost. It's commendable how they sought justice so tirelessly, attending court sessions and facing the gut-wrenching details of the case repeatedly. Their strength is inspiring. Moseley’s conviction is a step towards acknowledging the severity of his crime, but I hope this case also raises awareness about the broader issues surrounding violence in our communities. We need to support initiatives that prevent such tragedies from happening in the first place. My thoughts are with Shenequia’s loved ones as they navigate life without her vibrant presence.
