I’ve been thinking a lot about the Thurman case lately and can’t get over how this happened seemingly out of the blue. Ruth Ann and Kenneth Thurman were such pillars in their community, and it’s tough to reconcile their tragic end with the couple everyone knew and admired. Does anyone else have thoughts on the community's reaction to this whole situation? It must’ve been a complete shock to their friends and fellow church members. I came across a few stories shared by their neighbors about how Kenneth and Ruth Ann used to always invite people over for Sunday gatherings after church. They were the kind of people who would drop everything to help out when someone needed it. I wonder if we’ll ever really understand what led to this terrible event. Sending my condolences and thoughts to their family during this incredibly tough time. Please share if anyone has heard anything about community memorials or ways people are choosing to honor their memory.
