I can't stop thinking about the role the community played in supporting Trena Monique Jordan's family throughout this ordeal. It's clear how much Trena meant to everyone around her and how deeply her loss was felt. The solidarity shown by wearing "Justice for Nikki" shirts was such a powerful statement. It was more than just a piece of clothing; it was a way for her family and community to stand together and say, "We remember her, and she deserves justice." It's incredibly heartwarming to know that in times of tragedy, people can come together to help lift each other up. Trena's daughter, especially, needs all the support and love she can get right now. No child should have to go through what she witnessed, and it's good to see the community rallying around her. If there's any silver lining in this tragedy, it's witnessing the strength and unity of those who loved Trena and are committed to keeping her memory alive.

I’ve been following Trena Monique Jordan’s case and can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on her 13-year-old daughter. Witnessing such a traumatic event and then having to testify against her own father must be so incredibly hard for her. I can’t imagine the emotional toll it's taken on her so young. It’s a small solace that Simmons was brought to justice, but it doesn't erase the pain this family must be enduring. I hope that her daughter has access to the support and therapy she needs to navigate this nightmare. My heart goes out to the entire family and community, who’ve shown such strength and unity throughout this ordeal.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Trena's daughter lately. Having to witness such a traumatizing event at her own home is unimaginable. I hope she’s getting the support she needs right now. It’s so crucial for her well-being and healing process. The community seems to be rallying around her, which is comforting. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to speak up about something so personal and painful in front of a courtroom full of strangers, but she did it. That kind of bravery at such a young age is something to be commended. Let's keep thinking about how we can support children who go through such horror, both emotionally and in finding some sense of stability again.
